The answer to the endless supply of "can humans survive on [whatever]" questions is always yes. Yes, you can survive eating anything.
It's the wrong question.
The right question is "How well and for how long can you survive eating only [whatever]".... (more)
If you eat a healthy diet with lots of variety, mostly plants, not too much or too little, then vitamin supplements are at best a waste of money and at worst harmful. Only take them if a doctor has prescribed them for a specific condition or deficiency.
Multivitamins are always a waste of money.
